When you use our services, we collect the following types of information:

Information you provide us:

We store information about you during the account registration process on our application. This information may include, but is not limited to your name, date of birth, address, e-mail address, phone number and any other details as might be requested from you for the purpose of registration and/or continued use of our services. The transactions on your account, including your payments and gaming history. We process your information due to regulatory compliance and for improvement of the application. When possible, we will anonymize your data. You are allowed to not provide personal data, however you will be limited or not be able to use our product(s).

·       To verify your identity in order for you to gain full access to StakeMate’s app/your account, we will share your information with a third-party provider to verify your age and identity, as per UK Gambling Commission regulations.

 

·       To verify your deposits and withdrawals are true and accurate on your account, we will share your information with a third-party provider to verify your payments.

 

Your rights

Under The Data Protection Act, you as a data subject have several rights which are detailed below. Some of these only apply in specific circumstances and may be subject to exemptions in data protection legislation. We will advise you in our response to your request if we are relying on any such exemptions.

·       Right to erasure: You can request us to erase your personal data where there is no compelling reason to continue processing. This right only applies in certain circumstances, it is not a guaranteed or absolute right.

 

·       Right to data portability: You can ask us to provide you or another company you nominate with your personal data, including in a format which enables you to transfer your personal data to another organisation.

 

·       Right to restrict processing of personal data: In certain circumstances you have the right to request that we suspend our processing of your personal data.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to request access to the information held by us about you. Any access request will be dealt with by us within one month of being made by you and we will endeavour to provide such data to you in a format of your choice.

Retention of your personal data

We will keep your data for the period that your account remains open with StakeMate. Once your account is closed we will keep your data for the minimum length of time required to comply with the purposes set out in this policy and relevant legal and/or regulatory obligations. Please note that we may be required in certain circumstances to retain your information indefinitely (such as under our procedures on responsible gambling and self-exclusion).

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Any changes we make to this policy will be posted on this page and where we deem such changes to be material we will notify you by email. We will communicate details of material changes to you in advance, giving an appropriate amount of time for you to consider and understand the changes before they become effective.
